Brittany Country Gite is an adorable cob and stone holiday gite set in the beautiful Brittany countryside only 15 minutes drive from the medieval port town of Dinan. The cottage is in the heart of a small hamlet just 5 minutes walk from the village of St. Maden, which has a bar where you can buy bread and other provisions. Around half and hour’s drive north will take you to the gorgeous Emerald Coast with its rocky coves, sandy beaches and turquoise sea. The same drive south will take you to the vibrant regional capital, Rennes, with its famous markets and medieval centre. Out of the peak season, we are happy to accommodate you for a short break, rather than a full week. (see Prices and Availability). You can certainly relax here: read a book in the shade of the balcony, wander around our smallholding watching the animals or just doze on the chamomile lawn.
