An old stable has been transformed into an attractive and comfortable holiday home for two. It offers guests a high level of comfort and privacy - ideal for a relaxing break or romantic hideaway.
The living room has a table and chairs, comfy sofa and rocking chair. A Roberts iPod dock with MP3 connection also plays CDs.
The Internet is available through a WiFi connection.
A efficient Jøtul wood-burning stove will keep you toasty warm. Firewood and kindling are supplied free.
Upstairs the bedroom has a double bed with an en suite shower room and toilet.
All bed linen is supplied, along with towels and a bar of our home-made natural soap.
We ask that you bring your own beach towels.
The west-facing bedroom window catches the evening sunsets.
We are currently refurbishing the kitchen for the new season (photo to follow). This will include increased worksurface and food storage, new fridge/freezer and twin oven and grill, 4-plate ceramic hob cooker, new sink and drainer. Your will find all the crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment you will need.
Our own home produce, such as fresh eggs, pork and lamb chops, salad bowls, home-made pesto and other items are available to buy.
The backdoor of the cottage opens onto a wooden decked veranda, which steps down into private garden. You are welcome to pick herbs for the kitchen or flowers that take your fancy.
You are free to wander around the rest of our smallholding, meet the animals and sit by the wildlife pond.
There is parking next to the cottage.
Please note that the gite is not suitable for children or pets and smoking is not permitted inside.
