Bottle feeding two baby goats

With three pigs, ten sheep, a couple of goats and numerous chickens, chicks, rabbits and the cat to look after; the vegetable garden, polytunnel, fruit and nut trees and 11 acres of woodland to manage, we always have our hands full but are never too busy to stop and talk about what we're doing and show you around.

If you want to, you could join in and perhaps try your hand at something new. Depending on your interests, the season and what we're doing at the time, this might include jam and pickle making, tending the vegetable plot, feeding the animals, washing and carding wool, woodland management or stock fencing.

Gite guests making sausages

Courses: we offer short courses on subjects such as how to pluck and prepare a chicken for the pot, sausage making and making living willow structures. And if you're feeling artistic, there is the possibility of a personal art workshop with the local artist Caroline Johnson. Ask us for more details.

Have a look at our blog to see more of what we're up to.
