Our holiday gite is an adorable cob and stone holiday cottage set in the beautiful Brittany countryside only 15 minutes drive from the medieval port town of Dinan. The cottage is in the heart of a small hamlet just 5 minutes walk from the village of St. Maden, with its small bar and bakery.
Around half and hour's drive north will take you to the gorgeous Emerald Coast with its rocky coves, sandy beaches and turquoise sea. The same drive south will take you to the vibrant regional capital of Rennes, with its famous market and medieval centre.
You can certainly slow down here: read a book in the shade of the balcony, wander around our smallholding watching the animals or just doze on the chamomile lawn.
